Implementation Details:
- Waitlisting will be available for leagues, competitions, and products. Whenever we say "league" below, we also mean competition and product.
- Staff will be able to check a box on each league to enable "waitlisting" for it, but only if that league also has inventory (quantity / spots) set for it. This will NOT be a club wide setting, staff will need to fill this out for each league that should be waitlist enabled.
- If a league is sold out, and waitlisting is enabled, there will be a waitlist button that members can click to be added to that league's waitlist.
- When waitlisting the member will NOT be required to associate a curler profile, as not all leagues will require a curler profile. They will however need to be logged in (we'll need their email to send approval notification).
- When waitlisting, there are only two fields / questions we will ask. First is the "Name" which will be required. Second is "Notes" which will be optional and allow them to attach a note for club administrators.
- Once the waitlist entry is submitted, the member will receive an email confirmation that they are on the waitlist for the league.
- Members will have a new section within their "Account" dropdown listing their waitlist entries along with their status (pending, approved, rejected, expired). Waitlist entries that have been claimed (they have registered for the league that was waitlisted) will be removed from this list.
- Staff will be able to see the waitlist for each league with the names and notes, whether it's been approved, when the approval occurred, and when the approval was claimed. This list will be sorted by when the waitlist registration was submitted (most recent first).
- Approval of waitlisted entries will NOT be automated and will always required staff to approve an entry themselves.
- Each waitlist entry in this list will have an "Approve" link that staff can click. This will send an email to the member containing a link to register for the league. The league itself can remain "sold out", and the member will still able to complete their registration since they have an "Approved" waitlist for the league.
- Staff can revoke approval for a waitlisted entry that has not already been claimed.
- Staff can re-approve a waitlisted entry, which can be useful if they need to send the approval notification email again (maybe they didn't see it the first time?).

For event registrations, it would be great if you could have how many spots available (that people pay for) and then enable a waitlist option to accept more registrations but not have people pay the set price. Then when you are ready to add more registrations, you can click a button and have those waitlisted teams (either all or selected teams) to pay.
