Reporting Role/Role Based Security

Can you add role based security to the system that would allow managers to have different access based on the selected role(s). My suggestion would be a reporting role to access the reports. A competition role to access the competitions, products and curlers. A finance role that can access the orders. Finally, a system admin that can access everything.

Re-opening to gauge interest. I'm really not in favour though. I've seen first hand several times where role setups have been built, but then not used properly and requiring significant support (why can't I see curler registrations? discounts? etc.).
Basically, once added there is an ongoing cost to maintaining and supporting roles, both from the provider (Curling I/O) and the user (curling clubs).

This adds a ton of complexity to the system, in terms of implementation, maintenance (new features need to participate, documentation, training), and user interface (many clubs just have one or two admins). Not something we're planning in the short term, but we'll consider it for the long terms.

I agree - very helpful when you have volunteers for specific areas.
