Dave Rapin: I think I like that it's generic (and therefore flexible). An event may not be a bonspiel - it may be an open house, drop-in Friday night, non-curling event (a dinner, a dance, a dart tournament). And this will change the naming of the event for associations too correct? They are running competitions, not bonspiels - so event may cover off both.
