My events section bug

We came upon an issue this past weekend. One of our members had added an event to his Cart, but had not released it from the Cart (no order was created). However, when he logged into his profile and went to the "My events" page, the item was showing there, and he believed that he had properly registered.
Could we update the site to prevent Orders from appearing in "My events" until they have been completed and released?

That's odd and sounds like a bug. It shouldn't show up in the My Events until the order is at least submitted. We'll take a look. Please submit all feature and bug requests though you Curling IO Admin -> Support section in the future. We are moving off of Canny.
