Mixed Doubles Mid-Match Hammer-Switch

Sharon Thiessen-Woods (sthiessen@curling.ca) and Brian Cassidy Sr. (bcassidy@curling.ca) have proposed the Mixed Doubles format calls for the ability to allow hammer-switching mid-match:
"In Mixed Doubles we need to change the hammer during the game. If a team blanks an end they give up the hammer so the team that blanked should now be throwing first (team on the left in live entry) rather than the right."

Justin Perry I also see 2 other features mentioned in the attached email. I assume that's not part of this request and if needed, you'll create separate feature requests for each?

This sounds like it should be automated specifically for mixed doubles competitions where one team blanks an end, so you wouldn't need the ability to manually swap hammers mid game. Correct?

Thanks for kicking this off Sharon. Great thoughts below and I agree completely.
Enhancements;
- Ability to identify the power play ends
- Ability to move the hammer from one team to another when required.
- Scoring per each throw, this means the requirement to track all 5 shots on an individual basis:
Shot 1 - Player 1
Shot 2 - Player 2
Shot 3 - Player 2
Shot 4 - Player 2
Shot 5 - Player 1
Ability to then calculate percentages based on many combinations.
Percentages per shot, player 1 percentage, player 2 percentage, shot's 1 and 2 combined percentage, shot's 4 and 5 combined percentage, total shot's percentage etc.
Tracking correctly the player, if the team changes positions during the game. The shot's are now thrown as:
Shot 1 - Player 2
Shot 2 - Player 1
Shot 3 - Player 1
Shot 4 - Player 1
Shot 5 - Player 2
Scoring shots thrown out of five, this will require the ability to have one decimal place, example 2.5 out of 5 (not sure if this done yet, so my apologies if it is)
I would love to see these changes in place for the Canadian mixed doubles championship that starts at the end of March.
Feel free to add any other requirements.
What are the next steps to get this done?
