Member Portal
Dave Rapin
We're thinking of adding a "Members Portal" where members get a global (club agnostic) look at their profiles, orders, activity, etc.
Members would still go to the club site to purchase and accept waivers.
In addition simply descoping the current account section, there's a few features we can explore that tie into this nicely. Like a league / event / program finder, possibly classifieds, follow / star a team or event (to get updates), etc.

Widget to show all bonspiels happening in a specific region (province / state / radius).

It would be nice if MA's could automatically pull a list of club bonspiels that are happening to show on their website. It would be easier on the clubs rather than uploading onto the MA's website and is a great way to encourage curlers to look at other spiels happening in the province.

Account Page changes.

You made a change recently to the Account Page for the curlers. There used to be a My Leagues options that would show all the leagues I'm registered in on Curling IO. My curlers liked that option as it gave them a list of all their leagues in one place, regardless of club. The Orders also gave them all their orders, regardless of club. My curlers are viewing the new Account features as a take-away from what was previously there. Is there any way to reinstate My Leagues and My Orders to be inclusive of all clubs.
I would expect that My Events would show the playdown events that I'm registered in as well as all the club events/leagues I'm registered for.

We've been considering a "Member Portal" that curlers can use to see their profiles / order history / leagues / competitions across all clubs, and search for leagues / bonspiels / clubs. Relevant features may include a league / competition finder, and the ability to follow (favourite) a league, competition, or club.
Early days still.

There are some good reasons for the system to not bleed data between clubs, which is why your orders are now club specific. We might revisit this in the future for this specific scenario, but we're stuck with it for now. Keep in mind this impacts vanishingly few of our curlers (most do not curler at multiple clubs using IO, and those that do generally don't expect to see their orders mixed together).
I recognize this is a particularly annoying issue for both of you due to how you leagues are setup.

Dave Rapin, thanks for getting back to me. I've spoken to the managers at other clubs I curl at. North Hill, Inglewood, Indus, Airdrie, Olds. I see Kyle has already weighed in on the topic. The other clubs said that may of their curlers play at many clubs. They may also weigh in on this topic.

Steve Mackey: Ultimately we're thinking of adding a "Members Portal" type deal where you get a global look at your profiles, orders, activity, etc. unrestricted by club. While you would still need to go to the club site to purchase and accept waivers, I think it would be nice to have everything else member related in one place.
There's also a few features we want to explore that would tie into this nicely. Like a league / event / program finder, possibly classifieds, follow / star a team or event (to get updates), etc.

Dave Rapin: thanks Dave. You have a good start to the portal with the Account drop-down that show My Order, My Teams, My Events. Building the query to make it club independent would make it easier for the curler. Thanks for the support.

This makes things more difficult for the curler and giving them the ability to display all of their event, regardless of their club.
