Make Payouts CSV Download Report same as Payments

Could you make the payouts report format the same as Payments - this is especially needed for eTransfer and cheque payments so we don't have to look at the report, find the order id and then go and get the order details.

The Payments report has each curler's order broken down into leagues, affiliation fees, GST and other fees. It would be ideal to have same format for both

I think you might have stated this backwards. What you actually want is a payouts type of grouping report for offline payments as well?
The payouts report is grouped by deposit (from the payment processor) to display the orders and line items that made up that deposit. Offline payments don't really have these bulk deposits, so they don't have a grouped report like this.
What I suspect you want is a payments report grouped by order.
One issue is that offline payments can be partial payments, deposited at different times, or even missing a final payment.

Dave - you're correct it is for offline payments - so if the payout report could be expanded to filter by payment type, that would work.
I don't really need any type of grouping for eTransfers  - they come in individually. Cheque deposits get grouped - so that could help I guess.
Right now the key element missing from the payments report is the detail. We need the league fees, affiliation fees, GST, lockers, etc broken out just like payouts report does. 
If you can expand the payouts report to include offline payments that would work if there's a filter for that payment type. 
Otherwise more detail added to the payments csv download.
Whichever is easier.

Don Mitchinson It would most definitely need to be a new report. Also keep in mind that you might take a partial payment, and there's no way for us to know if that partial payment is for specific line items in the order or just a percentage of the total. For example a curler might pay $100 in cash and the bring the remaining $50 next week, which has no bearing on the actual line items that were purchased as you aren't earmarking partial payments towards specific line items.
The payment is against the order
 and not against specific line items. If the order is paid in full, then we can assume all of it's line items are paid in full, and everything is fine, but if not, we can't mark specific items as paid, we just mark the order as partially paid.
So we'd need to determine what to do with partial payments. How to represent them in a way that isn't misleading, since including order item total amounts may be misleading.
It feels a bit messy, but it's certainly something we can think about.

I can understand the issue of partial payments. We have to massage that now for the bookkeeper.
Even if you limit to full payments that would be a huge help as majority pay that way

Don Mitchinson Our bookkeeper also asks for a breakdown of Methods of Payment (MoP). We’ve produced a report that includes the rollup for each Order_ID (see attached). A frequent combination of payments is club_credit + etransfer. We really like the one line per order_id view, to see at a glance these elements of an order – especially for reconciliation. It is a bit of work to download all the Curling I/O reports needed to get the fields required, but after they are uploaded into our database, the rollup query does all the heavy lifting. If you are interested, I can give you details of our process.
