Create a Member Directory

Now that you've completed "Permission to Publish Registration", please provide a way to share contact information with other members -- similar to how it's done for the Spares Lists. There's plenty of column space in the league registrations tab, so I'd say provide phone & email along with the name and team already listed. Our workaround is a Member Directory page that we populate from the download of the Profile tab (formerly Curler tab); BTW it would be ideal if that download now also includes the permission bit.

Products and Programs now have a "Publish registrations?" checkbox. When checked they will show the registrations on the public site in a registrations tab.
If the program or product requires a curler profile, then the profile information will be shown. If the account viewing the registration is considered a member (purchased a member product, like a league, in the current season) then they will see contact information for the registrations that have chosen to show it (based on the "Show contact info to members?" checkbox).
If a product is set to be seasonal per curler, then only registrations for the current season will be listed.
This gives you multiple options, for example:
- You can create a $0 (free) program called "Member Directory", have it require curler profiles, seasonal per curler, and publish registrations. Invite your member to register (and you can add custom fields if you like).
- You can do the same with a product, however with a product you can also make it an addon or a "both" and then you can add it to your leagues. When a league is purchased and the member directory addon has been checked, the curler profile from the league is automatically assigned to the addon, making this sort of automatic.
- If you are already selling a membership product / program / addon, then just check the publish registration box. Some curlers might object about their name being publicly shown (my kids names are publicly shown in their sports leagues websites, so I don't know about this objection TBH).

Ability to use Curling IO for a MEMBER DIRECTORY
Cornwall Curling
The ability to use Curling IO as a club member directory where members (once logged in) would be able to find contact information for others members - using the existing privacy features available within IO (like ability to choose to allow others to see your information if say you are in the same league, spares).
Our old website had a script that had this feature but when we migrated we lost the ability and we've found the other solutions are either bug filled, attract spam bots, or require constantly updating a separate document to send out to members.

I've updated our "Create Member Directory" thread (which you upvoted), to see our current work-around. It does require regular updating during the registration season, but it's on the website - not emailed.
It would be better if the "permission to publish registration" flag was included in the profile csv. Fortunately, we only have a few members who don't give that permission when they register, so we edit the profile download manually.

Cold Lake Curling Club: are you referring to the "Show contact info to members?" checkbox on profiles, or a separate custom field?

Thank you for implementing this so quickly.
Wouldn't it would be more efficient use of real-estate, and reduce scrolling, if the contact information on the League / Registrations tab were in four columns (Name, Email, Phone, Team) rather than the email and phone listed under the name? I.e. similar to the Spares lists. Ordered by Team.

The solution implemented by curling/io is only visible by league in the public site - in the respective league "registrations" tab. For a club-wide directory, we have to download the "Profiles + registered this season" csv file (in the admin site), drop that into a spreadsheet that formats it to "Last, First, Phone, Email", then paste it into tablesgenerator.com , then copy that markdown table into our Member Directory page on our website (members only).

Cold Lake Curling Club: Hmm, what if we add the publish registrations checkbox to programs and / or products? You could use either of these as a dedicated Member Directory then, which would give you a registrations tab.
